Is the Food Crate animal proof? How does it stand up to rats and/or raccoons if left outside?

The GUNNER Food Crate is a dog food storage bin that provides extreme durability and a fortress-like protection against pests, locking in odor and defending dinner against outside agitators like raccoons, rats and ants.

It is rotomolded, using the same processes as our heavy-duty G1™ kennel. It features a draw style latch that provides quick access for you but stumps unwanted agitators. In addition, we have a stainless steel locking pin for the latch that provides extra protection from rodents and raccoons.

We have tested it to withstand a family of 4 raccoons try to break into the Food Crate over 23 days. We added peanut butter to the top of the product and set it in Addison's wooded backyard for a few weeks, to see what would happen. A coyote, a dog and some squirrels make cameos too.
