Can I fly with my GUNNER Kennels?

The G1™ travel kennel does meet most airline requirements, provided that you follow certain guidelines that pertain to consumer requirements (i.e. "live pet" label, accessible water and food containers, weight limit and size compliant, etc.) that are the responsibility of the pet owner. 

We believe the G1™ is an ideal choice for air travel, due to the unrivaled durability, the escape-proof door, and its special properties that work better for your dog in the heat and cold (compared to other crates). IATA

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) is a trade association that represents 260 airlines worldwide, and for these airlines, it sets the standard for transporting your pet by plane. Here are some things to note when traveling with your dog:
 

• You can see IATA's specific guidelines for pet travel here.
• The IATA does not certify, approve or endorse any pet container manufacturer.
• The decision often ultimately resides with the employee working at the airline's baggage check. That's why we always recommend confirming with whatever airline you are traveling with, prior to your departure date. In our experience, the airline employee has always been impressed by/noted the superior construction of the kennel.

SIZING

Please note that IATA standards mandate that the dog be able to fully stand, turn around, and lie down in the crate comfortably. Compare your dog's measurements to our crate's interior dimensions (below) to determine the best size for air travel for your K-9:
